Donald Marvin Jamieson

Donald M. Jamieson, 81, of Fort Dodge passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A visiting Celebration of Life will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Donald is survived by his children, Greg Jamieson and his wife Linda Boedeker of Colorado Springs, CO; Mindy Jamieson of Fort Dodge; significant other, Elaine Georg of Fort Dodge and her children, Jenny Georg; Staci Adam; Brett Georg; and her grandchildren, Alexis Adam; Brody Adam; Ryanna Hill; and Tyreese Hill; brothers, Raymond of Longmont, CO; Keith of Fort Dodge; Barry (Celeste) of Phoenix, AZ; Brian of Manitou Springs, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Dorothy (Gilbert) Jamieson; sisters-in-law, Donna and Judy. Don Marvin Jamieson was born September 17, 1935 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1953. Don was known as a Chevy Salesman. He first worked at Levine Automotive and retired from Clement Auto. Don was an avid fisherman who enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Don loved to watch Westerns and sing; most of the time he made up his own words to the song on the radio. He will be greatly missed. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
