GOWRIE Edith H. Geisler, 95, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Friendship Haven. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge with Rev. Jon Jahnke officiating. Burial will be in Gowrie Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. The service will be live streamed via St. Paul Lutheran Church Facebook Page. Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie is serving the family. She is survived by her children, Garret (Becky) Geisler of Callender; Roger (Sook) Geisler of Kansas City, MO; Marlin (Kathy) Geisler of Gowrie; Charlotte Jorgensen of Gowrie; Sharman (James) Galezewski of Oak Park, IL; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Louise (Keller) Lautner; husband, William; four brothers and two sisters. Edith Harriet Lautner was born June 24, 1925 in Perry County, IN. She was raised and educated in Tell City, IN. She graduated from Tell City High School in 1944. On February 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to William Geisler. The couple made their home in Paton, Gowrie, and Farnhamville areas. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Farnhamville and the Community Birthday Club. Most currently, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
