Edker B. Williams, 73, of Fort Dodge died Monday, September 16, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor T.L. Davis officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 11:00 AM Monday until the time of the service at Laufersweilers. Edker is survived by sons, Edker Foy, Otis Foy, Doug Foy, Jason Foy; daughters, Bunny Foy, Yula Foy, Laura VanderWel and Connie Morrow; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Willie C. Williams; sisters, Jane Poe, Maggie Norman, and Adel Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Sr. and Maggie Williams; daughters, Brenda Foy, Shailor Foy, and Michelle Williams; son, Arthur Foy; and siblings, Otis Williams, Lee Williams, Jr., Lydia Williams, Estelle Fuller, and Mary Brown. Edker B. Williams was born December 23, 1945 in Scooba, MS. He attended schools in Scooba and shortly following his education in 1964, he moved to Fort Dodge. He met Emma Foy and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge for the next 35 years. Edker worked for Kaylo Brick and Tile, IBP, DNK Construction and eventually retired from the Recycling Center in 2010. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
