Edna Lockman

Edna L. Lockman, 70, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday July 12, 2014 at the Simpson Health Center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Harvest Babptist church with Pastor Marvin Smith III officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Edna is survived by her husband, Robert Lockman of Fort Dodge; children, Debra Lockman of Tacoma, WA; Kevin (Shelice) Lockman of Fort Dodge; Lance (Whitney) Lockman of Fort Dodge; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sister, Shirley (Judge) Brown of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Flora (Lee Williams) Harper; and step-brother, William Harper. Edna Lee Lockman was born August 1, 1943 in Greenville, MS. She attended school in Greenville. Edna was united in marriage to Robert Lockman in 1961, and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. She worked as a dietician for Trinity Regional Medical Center for 42 years, and Edna attended Coppin Chapel Methodist Church and Harvest Baptist Church. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
