Eileen Payne

Eileen M. Payne, 100, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Marian Home. Private graveside services will be held at North Lawn Cemetery. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Eileen is survived by her children, Duane Lyerly; Diane Merk both of Manson, Dennis Lyerly of Saint Cloud, MN; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, and Pauline Stine. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edith (Floyd) Pingel; husbands, Cecil G. Lyerly in 1951 and John Payne in 1993; siblings, Illah Bueoy; Vern Pingel, Merlin Pingel, Marilyn Giacomelli and Bruce Pingel. Eileen M. Pingel was born May 28, 1920 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1938 and then attended the Fort Dodge Beauty Academy. Eileen worked as a beautician until her retirement.
