Eleanor L Stiles

Eleanor L. Stiles, 85, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Simpson Health Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Eleanor is survived by her son, Edwin Stiles and his wife Mary of Urbandale; daughter, Juanita of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Jill Stiles and her husband Richard of Des Moines; Jeffery Stiles his wife Molly of Urbandale; great-grandchildren, Russell and Sara Pearson, Nick, Will, and Clare Stiles; and her niece, Diane Ferrin of Moorland. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Edwin "Jake" Stiles; parents, Andrew and Aileen (Taylor) Ellingson; and her sister, Maxine Ferrin. Eleanor Louella Ellingson was born on January 3, 1929 in Moorland where she attended schools and later attended Tobin Business College. She was united in marriage to Edwin Stiles on July 2, 1949 at Corpus Christi Church. The couple established their home in Moorland. In 1954, they moved to Fort Dodge.
