Ellen Jane Unglesbee

Jane (Jones) Unglesbee, 72, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Paul J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Jane is survived by her son, Tony and wife Pam Jones of Goodyear, AZ; three grandsons, Hunter, Tyson, and Branden; brother, Dan of Fort Dodge and sister, Mary LaCallie of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and LaVonne (Cory) Jones; twin infant sisters, Patsy and Peggy; brother, William Jones and granddaughter, Lauren. Ellen Jane Jones was born March 21, 1940 in Denison. As a young child she and her family moved to Fort Dodge where she began her education. Jane graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1958. After graduation she worked for Hawkeye Glove Factory for 26 years. She then was employed with Comfort Inn and Super 8 as a custodian. Eventually she practiced private home care throughout the Fort Dodge area. Jane enjoyed sewing, embroidery, cross-stitching, and her beloved cat, Sky. She also loved visiting with her many friends. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
