Gayle Nagel Jondle, 63, of Callender, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Callender Cemetery on Sunday, October 30th at 1:00 PM. Survivors include her husband Leo of Callender, sons Jeremiah (Erin) of Creston, Josh (Lindsey) of Ankeny, grandchildren Jaxson, Austin, Estella, Jordyn, Jadyn, Lily, and Simon, brothers Eric Nagel of Crete, NE, John (Nancy) Nagel of Boone, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Burton and Betty (Lancaster) Nagel, sister Nancy Nagel, and in-laws Russell and Florence (Lennon) Jondle. Gayle Marie Nagel was born on April 14, 1959, in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Callender and Gowrie, graduating from Prairie Community High School in 1977. Gayle then attended and graduated from N.C.E. School of Business in Omaha, NE. On October 20, 1978, she was united in marriage to Leo Jondle and the couple made their home in Callender. She worked at the Arrowhead AEA, Sheriff's Office, Callender Bank, Johnson Law Firm, Eric Edie Law Firm, and most recently at Kesterson Realty. Gayle enjoyed camping, traveling, but most importantly she loved her husband, children, and her grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
