Helen Kayser, 88, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Marian Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2024 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Clare. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the start of the service at the funeral home. Services will be livestreamed via the funeral home's Facebook page.
Helen is survived by her children, Karen (Randy) Lemberg of Humboldt, Joseph (Jody) Kayser, Cathy (Ron) Auten, Carol (Doug) Linder, and Robert (Carla) Kayser all of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Kyle and Cory Lemberg, Kristyn Mueller, Jacob and Eric Auten, Jenna, Logan, and Alex Linder, Tim, Seth, Michael, and David Kayser; great-grandchildren, Ava, Eli, Harper, Maddyx, Mac, Mavrik, Myles, Reece, Miya, Ella, Kinley, Rowan, Otto, and Waiks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sophia (Stang) Ivory; son, David Kayser; infant granddaughter, Shawna Auten; siblings, Janice Ivory, Alice Clary, Eileen Smith, Mary Myer, Patricia Peterson, Marcella Green, Joe Ivory, and Paul Ivory.
Helen Delores Ivory was born July 22, 1936 in Iowa City. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge; graduating from Sacred Heart High School in 1954. Helen established her home in Fort Dodge and worked for Central Telephone Company for a number of years. She then worked for Trinity Regional Hospital for 32 years before retiring in 2003. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
