Helen Munn

Helen V. Munn, 91, of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday with Legion of Mary Rosary at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Helen is survived by her siblings, Pauline Munn Fort Dodge; Richard (Alice) Munn of Sun City, AZ; Edward (Helen) Munn of Fort Dodge; William Munn of Stuart; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Aileen (Maher) Munn; siblings, John (Jack) Munn, Donald Munn, Dorothy Olson, Billy Munn, James Munn and Elizabeth Monson. Helen Veronica Munn was born January 9, 1925 in Fort Dodge. She attended school in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Shortly after her education, she became employed for American Optical for many years retiring in 1983. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
