Howard Lee Miller

Howard Miller, 54, of Fort Dodge passed away July 30, 2016 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Howard is survived by his siblings, Archie Lacy of Emelle, AL; William Miller of Des Moines; Arthur Amerson of Des Moines; Thomas Miller of Fort Dodge; Lillie Miller of Des Moines; Henry Miller of Fort Dodge; aunts, Ethel Garrett of Tuscaloosa, AL; Espie Gun of Fort Dodge; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bilbo and Sallie Miller; sister, Betty Amerson; grandfathers; grandmothers; and many aunts and uncles. Howard was born September 30, 1961 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He worked for Don Perry and Fort Dodge Motors before he had to retire due to ill health. Howard enjoyed hunting and playing cards. He also loved to watch old westerns. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
