I Sun "Sunny" Sievert

I-Sun "Sunny" Seivert, 72 of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, December 6th 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 9th 2020 at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Brian Feller officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service the church. Laufersweiler - Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. She was preceded in death by her parents Du Hawn Cho and Pok Ye Kim. I-Sun Seivert was born January 18th 1948 in Pusan South Korea. In 1977 she moved to the United States and made her home in Storm Lake. In 1995 she moved to Fort Dodge. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. Sunny volunteered with PICA and loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and the simple things in life. She was a gentle soul that will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by 2 sisters in Korea and many friends from the REC center, Holy Trinity Parish, and a special friend Steve Hefty of West Bend, Iowa. Memorial may be left to the discretion of the family.
