Irma M. Mcmahon

Irma M. McMahon, 88, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her sons, Gary McMahon of Windsor Heights, IA; Daniel McMahon and his wife, Deborah of Kansas City, MO; Terrance McMahon and his wife, Terri of Tavares, FL; Tad McMahon and his wife, Michelle of Kansas City, MO; daughter-in-law, Betty McMahon of Mankato, MN 16 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Martha (Helmbrecht) Langenwalter; husband, Hubert; infant daughter, Sherri Rinea McMahon; daughter, Sheila Schuttler; brothers, Arnold, Herbert, and Elmon Langenwalter; sisters, Norma Jean Langenwalter and Erna Wendt. Irma M. Langenwalter was born on January 2, 1929, in Varina, IA. She graduated from Manson High School in 1947. On August 18, 1948, she was united in marriage to Hubert McMahon in Fort Dodge. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Hubert passed away in 1975. Irma worked at Trinity Regional Medical Center from 1977 to 1987. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Irma enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and going to the casino. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
