Jack Wiederholt

Jack C. Weiderholt, 64, of Fort Dodge passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at his home. A Celebration of Life and time of friends to gather will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Jack C. Weiderholt was born in Fort Dodge on November 26, 1954 to Charles and Irma Weiderholt. He attended St. Edmond High School. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1976 based at Fort Collins, CO. He married Barbara Baier on June 6, 1975 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The couple made their home in Fort Carson, CO until Jack's honorable discharge from the service. They were parents of one child Nicole "Nikki" . The couple lived in Columbus , NE for a brief period and then the couple established their home in Fort Dodge, IA. Jack enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, decorating their home with holiday decorations, spending time with his dog "Riley" and helping veterans. Jack is survived by his wife Barbara, son-in-law Jason Lennon, grandsons Brandon and Bryer Lennon, sister Sarah Weiderholt, sister-in-law Charlotte Evans, brother-in-law Woody Kinsman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nikki, parents Charles and Irma, sister Roberta, brother Chuck, brother-in-law Kenneth Evan and nephew Jerry Sankey Jr. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
