Jackie Marie Clayton-Garcia

Jackie Marie Clayton-Garcia, age 41 passed away on August 13, 2017. She was born April 9, 1976 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Rebecca Clayton and John Andrews (deceased). Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Behm and Pastor Shawn Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Jackie was a 1994 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High School. She then attended Iowa Central Community College and graduated with a Bachelor in Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Buena Vista University. On June 11, 1999, Jackie married Elpidio Garcia and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. At the time of her death she worked as the Trading Post Manager & Executive Assistant at the Fort Museum. Jackie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, laughing and joking around. Left to honor Jackie and remember her love is her husband; five children, Deon Clayton, Adarius Clayton, Essence Clayton, Emillian Garcia, and Nizel Garcia; sister, Shirley Clayton; brother, Charles Clayton; mother and step-father, Rebecca and Terrance Fields. Along with nephews Amir Clayton, Solomon Clayton, and Malcolm Clayton. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
