Jack W. Phillips, 72, died Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his home. A Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23rd at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM, followed by Military Rites Conducted by the V.F.W. Post 1856 and the U.S. Navy Honor Guard all at the funeral home. Jackie Wayne Phillips was born April 21, 1950, to John and Donna Phillips. He is a Fort Dodge Senior High Graduate. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam with the Sea Bees. Jack was united in marriage to Pam Wilson in August of 1987. They made their home in Fort Dodge. Jack was a truck driver that retired from Fort Dodge Asphalt. He enjoyed driving his Nova and riding his Harley. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1856. Left to miss him is his wife Pam, son Bob Wilson and his wife Alvira of West Des Moines, daughter Jackie Phillips of Florida, and granddaughter Alecsis. He is also survived by his sister Mary Dworak and her husband Ed, and brothers Doug Phillips and his wife Roxie, and Buddy Phillips. He was preceded by his parents John and Donna (Blunk) Phillips, brothers Jim, Denny, and Mark Phillips. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
