Jackson Daniel Passow, 2-year-old son of Daniel and Andrea Passow of Clare, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. A family gathering and time of prayer will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be at Corpus Christi Church. A visitation will be 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Survivors include his parents, sister Ella Passow at home, grandparents J.R. and Barb Passow of Clare, Todd and Kim Eastwood of Fort Dodge, great-grandmother Marj Eastwood of Fort Dodge, uncles Donny Passow, Doug Passow both of Clare, Brandon Eastwood of Fort Dodge, aunts Brittany (Justin) Baker, Miriah (Jerrad) Johnson, and Emily Eastwood, cousins Carley and Landon Johnson, Mason, Lily and Nora Eastwood, Charlie, Bella, Thea and Gemma Baker all of Fort Dodge, numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Jackson is flying high with his big sister Ava, great-grandfather Jim Eastwood and great-grandparents Bruce and Ardella Pingel and Don and Corrine Passow. Jackson was born August 6, 2017 in Fort Dodge at Trinity Regional Medical Center. He was baptized August 26, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church. On September 18, 2017 his courageous fight began with a bone marrow transplant. He positively affected many lives especially Coach Fleck and the University of Minnesota Football Team. He had many valiant supporters, including Minnesota Vikings player Kyle Rudolph and his wife, Jordan. He will be forever missed by his parents, sister Ella and the rest of the "Jackson Crew". In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to family discretion.
