Jae R. Carr

Jae R. Carr, 62, of Manson passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Jae is survived by his childre Jared (Leann) Carr of Manson and Chelsey Carr of Fort Dodge, grandchildren Mason, Brenleigh, Kingsley, Kyson, and KoraLynn, siblings Claudia McKim of North Liberty and Julie (Bob) Heidenreich of Fort Dodge and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Lorine (Moffit) Carr and a nephew James McKim. Jae Richard Carr was born May 13, 1957 in Fort Dodge. He attended Fort Dodge Public Schools. Following his education, Jae enlisted in the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge, Jae moved back to Fort Dodge. In 1979, he was united in marriage to Sheryl Bradley. They established their home in Deerfield, KS. The couple later divorced. In 2001, Jae moved to Fort Dodge. He was employed at Smithway driving truck for several years. He was later employed with Cargill until his retirement a couple of years ago. He enjoyed guns, hunting, and attending gun shows. Jae loved his Harley Davidson and riding motorcycles Memorials may be left to family discretion.
