James Crouch

November 18, 1950 — March 4, 2024

Jim W. Crouch, 73, of Fort Dodge passed away March 4, 2024, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.


Survivors include his daughter Jennifer (Stanley) Cure of Goodland, KS, son James (Sam) Crouch of Fort Dodge, and daughter Jilliane (Earl) Herndon of Fort Dodge, grandchildren Allison, Natalie, Reid, Megan, Eve, Drew, Brielle, James, Caroline, Maiya and Earl, brothers Jon (Pam) Crouch of Fort Dodge, Scott (Carla) Crouch of Wilmington, NC, Terry (Joyce) Crouch of Wilmington, NC, Jim (Jan) Morgan of Cedar Rapids, sisters Karen (Bob) Patrick, Ann (Paul) Porter of Fort Dodge, Ginger Feeley of Fort Dodge.


He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Geneva (Herron) Crouch, and his brother-in-law Larry Feeley.


James Wilson Crouch was born on November 18, 1950, in Manning, IA. He was raised and educated in Rose Creek, MN, and graduated from Rose Creek High School. In 1979, he was united in marriage to Jean Sandeline and to this union were born the 3 kids Jennifer, James, and Jillian. The couple were later divorced. Jim worked at the United States Post Office for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed the game of golf immensely and had a lot of friends he played with over the years. Jim loved the times spent with his children and his grandchildren. Coffee with the “Morning Crew” at Community Tap was a favorite of his.
