James M. Lynch, 61, of Clare passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday with a rosary at 7:00 all at the funeral home. James is survived by his children, Doug of Humboldt, Adam of Jolley, David (Lacie) of Fort Dodge, and Sarah (Ethan) Myers of Laurens; 7 grandchildren; brother, Larry (Deb) Lynch of Fort Dodge; sisters, Linda (Tom) Hock of Manson, Janet (Jon) Pierce of Clare, and Marcia (Sid) Pencook of Sarasota, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Phyllis (Passow) Lynch. James Michael Lynch was born May 2, 1957 in Fort Dodge. He attended Northwest Webster schools in Barnum. He farmed with the Robert Condon family and was also employed with various family farms throughout Clare and Barnum for many years. Jimmy loved fishing and being outdoors. He was an avid Ford guy. Jimmy loved mechanics and working with tractors. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
