Janice Joyce Miller

Janice J. Miller, 57, of West Des Moines, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Mosaic Home. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM on Friday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Survivors include her siblings, Robert Miller of Humboldt; Donna Nash of Hawaii; Theresa (Dan) Spangler of Des Moines; Melissa Farhat of Webster City; Kevin Miller of Manson; 5 half brothers and sisters, Chuck and Sharon Myers, Steven Myers, Les Miller, Elmer (Gwen) Miller, and Linda (Glenn) Williams; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Virginia M (Allred) Miller; and her brother William "Billy" Miller. Janice Joyce Miller was born on July 14, 1960 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here. For a few years Janice was resident at Northwoods Living and then in 2015 moved to the Mosaic Home in West Des Moines. Janice enjoyed a special bond with her dad and her mother. She enjoyed dancing the 2step, picnics and going swimming and occasionally she would enjoy a beer. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
