Jean Marie Rokes

Jean M. Rokes, 49, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Paul J. Baber Hospice Home. Family and friends are invited to a private graveside service on Saturday November 16, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include her son, Tim Rokes of Fort Dodge; daughter, Samantha (Ben Peterson) Rokes of Fort Dodge; brothers, Jim (Linda) Rokes of Rockwell City, Tim Rokes of Fort Dodge, and Steve (Melissa) Rokes of Des Moines; sister, Kathy Rokes of Altoona; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary (Phillips) Rokes; sisters, Mary Ellen Bennett and Katherine Rokes; brothers, Johnny and Tom Rokes. Jean was born in Fort Dodge on May 14, 1964. She was raised in Fort Dodge and graduated from the Fort Dodge Senior High School. Jean went on to attend Bernells Cosmetology and became a cosmetologist. She enjoyed her family especially, her grandchildren. Memorials may be left in discretion to the family.
