Jeff C. Wignall, 69, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 22nd at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Survivors include his life partner Karen Miller of Fort Dodge children Josh (Tami), Nikki (PeeWee), Jake (Kendra), Sam (Joe), grandchildren Skylor, Breena, Trinity (Robby), Ben, Mylz, Becca, Gryffinn, Ryder, Jagger, Kayson, great grandchildren Blake and Trip, sisters Donna Wignall and her children Justin White and Heather White, brothers-in-law Steve White, Denny White, Gary White and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad Richard Wignall and his mom Jacquie (Schrodt) Wignall, brother by choice, Jack "Snuffy" Nelson. Jeffrey Charles Wignall was born on October 3, 1952 in Marshalltown. As a young child he moved to Leon, Iowa and later moved to Fort Dodge where he was educated with the Class of 1970. On February 11, 1972 he was united in marriage to Jennie White. The couple later divorced but remained good friends. He later met his life partner Karen Miller and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Jeff enjoyed being around people a making them smile and laugh. He was mill rite by trade. He was witty, sharp, helpful and handy and could change the entire energy of a room with his jokes. Jeff was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, listening to Led Zeppelin, and loved time spent with his family. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
