Jerry Dean "Geraldine" McCaleb, 71, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her home. A Home Going Service will be Saturday, May 25th at 1:30 PM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Richard Graves and Rev. Marvin Jenkins officiating. A visitation will be an hour prior at the church on Saturday. Geraldine is survived by her children, Gracie (Bob) Ramos of Cerritos, CA; Bradley (Michelle) McCaleb of Humboldt; Denise McCaleb of Fort Dodge; Margie (Mickie) Berg of Lakota; and Heidi McCaleb of Chicago, IL; fifteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sonny Grady of Fort Dodge; Jose Grady of Sioux Falls, SD; and a sister, Martha Davis of Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gracie Grady-Kulberg; husband, Clemmie McCaleb; sisters, Mary Mosley; Eloise Goodman; Johnnie May Grady; Elizabeth Grady; Berdie May Grady; brothers, Frank Grady and Tom Grady. Jerry Dean Grady was born October 16, 1941 in Laurel, Mississippi. As a young girl she moved with her family to Fort Dodge. In 1963, she was united in marriage to Clemmie McCaleb and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Geraldine first worked as a social worker for the Neighborhood Service Center. She then was employed with Iowa Beef and the Mead Container Manufacturer. She retired as a bus driver for the Fort Dodge Public School System. Geraldine loved to fish, from the Des Moines River to lakes in Minnesota. She also enjoyed hunting. She liked to play BINGO, where there was a spot saved just for her. Most of all Geraldine loved her grandkids and spending time with her family. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Visitation Mon, Nov 30, -0001 Service Mon, Nov 30, -0001
