Jocelyn Collins

Jocelyn Kae-Marie Collins, two and a half weeks old, lost her fight at 5:20 a.m. on June 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family after being born three months early at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. A visitation will be Monday, June 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Jocelyn is survived by her parents, Shania Day and Desmond Collins; brother, Kai; maternal grandparents, Jack Day and Candace Day; paternal grandparents, Cassandra Collins and Edward Brown; great-grandmothers, Vivian Smith and Florence Brown; great-grandfather, Tommy Clark (Kathy) and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-aunt, Jocelyn Collins. Jocelyn was our precious angel born too soon and taken early. She will be loved forever and missed dearly. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
