Johnnie Jackson Jr., 57, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday January 30th in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors include his daughter Jalynn Mae Jackson Foy, stepmother Earline Jackson of Porterville, MS, sisters Vickie (Mike) Zimmer, Loretha Taggetz, Ethel Foy, brother Otis (Rose) Johnson all of Fort Dodge, sisters Tracy (Antswan) Jones, Connie Jackson, Jessica (Derrick) Foy, Marilyn (Samuel) Jackson, Saundria (Kendrick) Jackson and brother Michael Jackson all of Porterville, MS, sister Beverly Jacobs of Omaha, NE, a host nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Lee Jackson, mother and stepfather Winniel (Edward) Mosley, sisters Patricia Jackson, Zaundaria Jackson, Betty and Bobby Jean Mosley. Johnnie Jackson was born on October 15, 1963 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from East Kemper High School in 1981 from Scooba, MS. Johnnie worked in construction and the manufacturing industry all his life. He was united in marriage to Tony Jackson and the couple were later divorced. Johnnie enjoyed listening to music, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
