Jordan M. Mundie, 37, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday November 2nd at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Brian Feller officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Survivors include his daughter Ella, sons Tate and Max all of Fort Dodge, parents Lauri and Brian Mundie of Fort Dodge, brothers Joseff (Ashley) and their daughter Paisley of Fort Dodge, and Jondahl Mundie of Fort Dodge, grandparents Donni and Larry Mitchell of Fort Dodge, host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Norman and Faye Mundie, his grandpa John Geren, and an infant brother Jared Mundie. Jordan Michael Mundie was born on October 2, 1983 in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Gowrie and graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 2002. He then attended Iowa Central Community College and then Iowa State University where he graduated in 2006 with degrees in Ag Business and Economics. On September 19, 2008 he was united in marriage to Amanda Pecoy and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. The couple were later divorced. Jordan was employed with Farmers Coop, Van Diest Supply, New Coop and most recently C and S Products. He had a sensitive and warm heart and loved to laugh, enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes, reading and tinkering in the garage as a farmer, mechanic, plumber and electrician. Jordan loved his family, brothers and especially time spent with his children. We will deeply miss his smile and kind nature. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
