Joseph Gradisar

Joseph E. Gradisar, 61, of Fort Dodge and formerly of Pueblo, CO passed away peacefully with family and friends at his side following a lengthy illness on Friday, December 8, 216 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Hull of Harvest Baptist Church officiating the service. A visitation will begin at 1:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Joseph Edward Gradisar was born February 15, 1955 in Pueblo, CO to Joseph and Betty (Keller) Gradisar. For over 23 years, he worked for Converg's Co in Pueblo. He had a large family and many close friends, especially at Walmart. He was united in marriage to Jenice on September 26, 1998 in Pueblo. The couple moved to Fort Dodge in March of 2013 and shortly after, Joe started working at Walmart. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Jenice; step-children, Chad Pontius of Pueblo, Co; Brent Pontius of Las Vegas, NV; Jennifer Furney of Pueblo, CO; sisters, Laura Mallard-Gradisar of Baton Rouge, LA; Nancy (Donnie) of Bigoey, WY; brother, Steve (Carla) Gradisar of Pueblo, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cindy Gradisar-Butkovich. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
