Joshua Lee Ewing

Joshua L. Ewing, 26, of Carroll, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with a Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Cindy Johnson to follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his grandmothers, Karen Johnson of Carroll and Sherri Ewing of Fort Dodge; brother, Levi Ewing of Fort Dodge; half-sisters, Emma and Kennedy Foster of Fort Dodge; uncles, Doug (Robin) Ewing of Duncombe, Craig (Darla) Ewing of Webster City, Bob Ewing of Fort Dodge; and Tim Blankenship of West Minister, CO; aunt, Sue (David) Romp of Webster City; and close friends, Bri Brittain and her son Joshie of Carroll and Amanda Carpenter and her son Quentin of Fort Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Jana (Blankenship) Ewing; grandpas, Robert Ewing and Gary Blankenship; step-grandpa, Rod Johnson; and cousin, Jarid Koester. Joshua Lee Ewing was born December 10, 1991 in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 2010. Following his education, he worked in food service for many years. In 2013, he moved to Carroll. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
