Judith Ann Carroll

Judy A. Carroll, 57, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday July 20, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 23rd, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery near Lake City. A visitation will be Today from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Judy is survived by her mother, Betty Carroll; brothers, Dennis (Jackie) Carroll of NC; David (Jun) Carroll of CO; sister, Janice Carroll of CA; as well as several nieces, and nephews. Judy is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Carroll; grandparents, George and Mayme Higgins; Emma and Albert Renfro; and Lela and William Carroll. Judy Ann Carroll was born to Ralph and Betty (Higgins) on October 24, 1955. She lived in Fort Dodge for a short time before moving to Harcourt. She started her schooling in Harcourt and finished in Burnside, where she graduated from Burnside High School. After high school, she went to work for Globe Union and worked there until it closed. She went to work at the post office after, until her health forced her to quit. Judy loved to spend time with her family, especially her mother.
