Judith K. Block

Rockwell City Judith K. Block 75, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, Lake City. Judiths wishes were to be cremated and services will be at a later date. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family. Judith is survived by her daughters, Carla Block of Clinton Township, MI and Amy (Chris) Ferry of Rockwell City; son Dean (Erica) Block of Thornton, CO; 8 grandchildren, Rory, Courtney, Isabel, Lila, Saylah, Gretchen, Braelyne, and Devin; one great-grandchild Morgan; and sister Sharon Knauth of Big Fork, MT; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl M. Block; her parents, Harold and Thelma (King) Alexander; brother Harold Alexander; sister Arlowyn Graham; and brothers-in-law, David Knauth and Dean Graham. Judith Kaye Alexander was born September 22, 1945 at Longmont, Colorado. She graduated from Longmont High School, with the Class of 1963. Judith attended Mile High Beauty Academy. Following her education, Judith worked for Golden Concrete and later worked at a Doctors office. On August 24, 1974 she was united in marriage to Carl M. Block at Longmont United Methodist Church in Longmont, Colorado. The couple lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Manson, Iowa. In 2007, they made their home in Rockwell City. Carl passed away in 2009. Judith will always be known for her humor and compassion and will forever be missed.
