Juli Ann Dencklau, 80, of Vincent, passed away Sunday June 30, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Colfax Township, near Vincent with Rev. Bill Van Nostrand, officiating. Burial will follow at the Colfax Township Cemetery, near Vincent. Visitation will be 5:00 pm. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church & also on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. till the time of the services. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Juli was born in Corwith, Iowa on January 5, 1933 to John and Josephine (Gengler) Hilbert. Her Family moved to the St. Joseph, Iowa area when she was a child. She was raised in the St. Joseph area and attended the St. Joseph School System. On July 17, 1955 she was united in marriage to Dale Dencklau at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She and her husband Dale lived and worked together on a farm south of Vincent her entire adult life. Juli was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Colfax Township. She was also a member of The Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 590 in Fort Dodge for many years. She enjoyed gardening, both vegetables and flowers. She took great pride in caring for her home both inside and out. She loved the family pets but her biggest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Dale; daughters, Barbara Young (Calvin) of Webster City; Karen Knutson (Larry) of Beldenville, WI; Laurie Nelson (Brian) of Thor; and son, Howard Dencklau (Kathy) of Fort Dodge; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Dennis Hilbert (Barb) of Fort Dodge; sister-in-law, Irene Hilbert of Spirit Lake and many nieces and nephews. Juli was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert; nephew, Michael Hilbert; granddaughter, Melanie Young; and great-granddaughter, Leighton Myers.
