Kathie Brown

Kathie M. Brown, 63, died March 21, 2017 at her home in Augusta, Kansas. She was born October 5, 1953 in Fort Worth, TX, the daughter of Gordon and Leona Reiter Brown. She had worked at Sterling College and was a retired telephone operator. Survivors include a brother, Kenneth Brown, Carlisle, Iowa; a sister, Debbie Zimmer, Montgomery, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Carol Kinast. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Haven. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the North Lawn Cemetery, Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Via Christi Epilepsy Center, Wichita, in care of Ott Funeral Home, Haven.
