Kathryn Noll

Kathryn M. (Marsh) Noll, 91, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Society in Manson. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 21st in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Kate is survived by her children Rick (Jaci) Noll of Fort Dodge, Mike (Barb) Noll of Thor, David (Pam) Noll of Storm Lake, and Steve Noll of Des Moines, 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and siblings William Marsh of Callender, Doris Swanberg, Patty Draper, and Phyllis Breeden all of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents William "Ray" and Effie (Casebolt) Marsh, husband Harry "Dick" Noll, granddaughter Amy Ettinger, siblings Edwin "Bud", Kenneth "Pete", Donald, Dennis, Dicky, and Bobby Marsh, Jessie Papish, Ruth Page, Margaret Miller, and Thelma Elsen, and her father and mother-in-law Harry and Dorothy (Richardson) Noll. Kathryn M. Marsh was born on October 26, 1931, in Coalville, IA. She was raised in Coalville and attended school in Otho. In 1949, Kate was united in marriage to Dick Noll and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. She worked for the Fort Dodge School System for 25 years, until retiring in 1991. Kate is a member of the Women's Bowling Association and served on the board for 23 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. For many years, Kate enjoyed women's fast pitch softball, bowling with her family, golfing, and was a Cubs fan. The most important thing in her life was the time she spent with her 4 boys and their families. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
