Kelli R. Jarvis, 51 of Gilmore City, IA passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday November 9, 2023, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Luke Fillmore officiating. Burial will follow at Elkhorn Township Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, IA. Kelli is survived by her husband Charles "Steve"; Son, Logan Jarvis of Gilmore City and Step Son Carter (Ashley) Jarvis of Pocahontas; Father, David (Jill) Lohff; Mother-and Father-in-Law Gloria and Raymond Dewey; Mother-In-Law, Mary Jarvis; Sister-In-Law, Vicki Nilles and Husband Gary of Gilmore City; Brother-In-Law, Bill Thurston and wife Chandra of Thornton, CO; Sister-in-law, Lisa Tool and husband Dan of Gilmore City; Sister-in-law, Connie Jordan and husband John of Ames; Step-in-Laws Barb, Ed, Shelly, Sherry; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Kelli was preceded in death by her mother Ann R. Lohff and Step-Brother-in-Law Guy Dewey. Kelli Renee Lohff, the daughter of David and Ann Lohff (Dillman), was born on September 14, 1972, in Iowa City. She attended school in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Kelli later went to Palmer School of Chiropractic and received a degree as a Chiropractic Assistant. On June 19, 2004, Kelli was united in marriage to Charles "Steve" Jarvis at First United Methodist Church in Fort Dodge, IA. She was employed at Central Iowa Distributing Inc and in 2003 went to AG Parts in Humboldt from October 2003 to June of 2017. In July 2017, she went to work at Humboldt Care center as the Office Manager. She went to work for Clarion Wellness Care Center in 2020 until she took a job at West Bend Health and Rehabilitation in 2021 as the Office Manager where she enjoyed the interaction with all the employees and especially enjoyed the interaction with the residents living at the facility. Kelli was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Dodge and Gilmore City and was the Secretary for the Fairview Beach Well association for many years. Kelli enjoyed spending time with her family as much as she could and was extremely proud of her dogs, Skylar, Bailey and Jasmine. If anyone asked what made her happy it was always family and her dogs. Kelli spent as much time as she could at Lost Island Lake; that was her relaxing spot and being with her lake family. She was well known for making her mom's Apple pie and perfecting it over the years. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
