Kenneth Skip Kenelm Kull

December 8, 1944 — June 4, 2022

Kenneth "Skip" K. Kull, 77, of Fort Dodge passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM - Time of Sharing and prayers at 7:00 PM all at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Margaret of Ireland, daughter Leslie Goertzen and her husband Scott of Lawrence, KS, stepsons Damian Blackwell, and Mark Blackwell, grandchildren Nathan, Nicholas, Zachary, Justin, Logan, Cami, Liam, and Madison. He was preceded by his parents Kenneth and Miriam (Powers) Kull. Kenneth Kenelm Kull was born on December 8, 1944, in Chicago, IL. As a young boy he moved with his mother to Atchison, KS, where he attended schools and graduated from Maur Hill High School in 1962. Skip then attended Benedictine College in Atchison where he received his degree in Education. Throughout his working career he furthered his education receiving a master's degree in Counseling and a master's degree in Education. He moved to Haddam, KS where he was the band director for high school for one year before moving to David City, NE, where he was also the band director at Aquinas High School for several years. Then moved to Auburn, NE, where Skip was the band director at S.E. High School in Stella, NE. In 1978, he moved to Plattsmouth, NE, where he was the band director for 12 years. From 1980 to 1985, Skip ran a recovery house at his home in Plattsmouth. On June 5, 1985, he was united in marriage to Margaret Lamberton. The couple moved to Fort Dodge in 1995, where Skip worked as an Allstate Insurance Salesman, and as a real estate agent retiring in 2014. Skip was a great storyteller, avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan, and the family historian. He was longtime friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
