Khristina Vaughn Wolff

Khristina Vaughn (Wilson) Wolff was born January 8, 1973 to Richard and Mary (Vaughn) Wilson at Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge. She died on August 15, 2017 due to injuries in a single automobile accident. Khris grew up in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge Catholic Schools graduating from Saint Edmond in 1991. She attended Iowa Central Community College for a short time. Khris worked for Northwood Living and Trinity Regional Hospital for a total of 19 years, and recently part-time at JC Penny's in Fort Dodge. Khris was united in marriage to William Wolff in August 1997, they later divorced, but remained friends. While married they had two children, Cory Richard and Cassidy Jane Ann. Khris was a friend to many because of her caring and loving character. She brought laughter to all her family activities, having fun in life was her passion. Brightening up anyone's day was her mission. She cared for anyone that she came in contact with, making sure they were taken care of, even if it meant that she had to go without. She kept her family on their toes, so much that it was not until lately they learned of her obsession for all things flamingo's! Khris is survived by her son Cory and daughter Cassidy of Fort Dodge; father Richard Wilson of Fort Dodge; brother Tim Wilson of Ames; sister Kathy Gehlhausen of Fort Dodge; brother Thomas (Lisa) Wilson of Madrid; sister-in-law Lori Bower (George) of Spirit Lake; nieces Kirsten Curry (Michael), Abigail Wilson, Katelyn Gehlhausen; nephews Alex Wilson, Ricky Wilson (Becky), Austin Gehlhausen, Tyler Gehlhausen and Max Bower; Great-nieces Kadi Wilson, Kenna Curry and Aubrey Wilson; Great-nephew Mason Curry; and many extended families and close friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary (Vaughn); brother Richard Wilson Jr.; sister, Karen Westphal; brother-in-law, Ben Westphal; and both sets of Grandparents. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Deacon Dan Carney officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
