Larry Nelson, 66, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, Fort Dodge. A visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Larry is survived by his wife, Patty Nelson of Fort Dodge; daughters, Lisa (Tony) Michaels of Eagle Grove; Tina (Mike) Rykhus of Farnhamville; five grandchildren, Kallie, Joesph, Miranda, Alaina, Alex; great-grandchildren, Joel, Natty, Alexa, Neeyah, Forrest; mother, Bettie Nelson of Fort Dodge; brothers, Raymond, Rick, and Brian. He was preceded in death by his father, Evan Nelson. Larry Nelson was born October 14, 1950 at Lake City. He was united in marriage to Patty Sills on November 15, 1969 at Kalo. Larry was a roofer for many years. He and Patty also managed Dodger Tap. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
