Lauren Dale Nickless

Lauren D. Nickless, 72, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A visitation and celebration of life will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2022 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Lauren Nickless is survived by his children Laura Peterson, Lisa (Jim) Coleman and Amanda Nickless, mother Nancy (McGough), Brother David (Betty) Nickless, sisters Nancy (Maurice) Nickless, Maurica (Heath) Almond. Along with 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren He is preceded in death by his father Maurice Nickless, son Lonny and brother Kenny Nickless. Lauren Dale Nickless was born December 30, 1949. After graduation Lauren farmed for two years, then worked at USG for 35 years before retiring. He was married to Linda Briggs but the couple later divorced. Lauren later was united in marriage to Debra McCloud. Lauren loved to hang out with his grandchildren, ride his Harley, listen to music, and fish. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
