Jolley Lee N. Greene 77, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Banner-Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Jolley Community United Methodist Church, Jolley, with Pastor Anita Bane officiating. Burial of casket will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Military Graveside Rites by the Rockwell City Veterans Organization. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 2, at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City. Lee is survived by his wife Sharon; children, Eric (Lori) Greene of Niota, IL, Nichole Greene - Dague (Ken Hack) of Alden, and Dan (Patty) Greene of Fort Dodge; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Greene, Jessica (Tyler) Nelson, Alex Dague, Abbie Dague, Bryttni (Xavier Edgerton) Greene, and Brooke Greene; sister Carol Childers of Pomeroy; brothers, Dale (Betty) Greene of Lakewood, CA, Donald (Deb) Greene of Knoke, and Orlen (Shelley) Greene of Rapids City, IL; brothers-in- law, Danny (Connie) Casey of Lytton and Garland "Spike" Casey of Jolley; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret (Bryan) Greene; brother Harold Greene; sister-in-law Connie Rae Casey; and brothers-in-law, Patrick Casey, and Gary Casey. Lee Neal Greene was born December 10, 1942 at Bagley, Iowa. He attended Lytton Community Schools and the Pomeroy High School. In 1962, Lee served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1966. On August 31, 1968 he was united in marriage to Sharon Casey in Jolley. The couple established their home in Minneapolis, later moving to Florida until returning to Jolley in 1979. Lee owned and operated Greene Painting Service until his retirement. He was a member of the Jolley Community United Methodist Church. The couple enjoyed wintering in Arizona.
