Linda M. Anderson

Linda M. Anderson, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Southfield Wellness Center, Webster City.

A memorial service will be 4:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Linda is survived by her children Ronald Anderson of Altoona, Stephanie Anderson of Cape Coral, FL, and Steven Anderson of Iowa City; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, LuAnne Trammell of Tampa, FL and Kelly Weinzetl of Webster City.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Carmen (Hamell) Bailey; son, Michael Anderson; and close friend Dennis Jones.

Linda Marie Bailey was born July 23, 1952 in Fort Dodge. Linda was raised and educated in Fort Dodge; graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1971. She lived in her Grandpa and Grandma Hamell's home before moving to Windsor Manor and then Southfield in Webster City. Linda was a foster grandma for the Foster Grandparent Program for a number of years. She also worked at Zakeers and a convenience store for a short time. She liked to read and was a social butterfly. There wasn't anyone she wouldn't say hello to. She was "central hub" for any info needed on anyone in the family tree.
