Linda Rose Klein

Linda R. Klein, 62, died at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, on Sunday, October 12, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include her husband, Danny Klein; daughters, Angel (Ed) Rees; Shelly (Rob) Selhaver; Deedee (Jake Askvig) Klein; son, Danny Klein Jr. all of Fort Dodge; mother, Evelyn Wendell of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Anthony, Bobby, Nathan, Damion, Echo, Marjie, Kylee, Jacob, Jeremy, Danny, Darriean, and Josh; great grandchildren, A.J., Jasper, Cece, Auna, and Riley; brother, Butch (Linda) Blair of Webster City; and her sister, Toni (Rick Ayala) Schmalen of Fort Dodge. Preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Blair; grandson, Dustin, sister, Roberta "Bobbie" Blair, brother-in-law, Mark Schmalen; grandmother, Bessie Dumdie. Linda Rose Blair was born on March 24, 1952 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools there. On March 4th 1970, she was united in marriage to Danny Klein and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Linda worked at various jobs throughout her life, but her favorite was doing construction with her husband Danny. Linda enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, fishing, and going to casinos. She loved to go on motorcycle rides with her husband and spending time with her family and friends.
