Lloyd Mcluckie

Lloyd L. McLuckie, 75, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 surrounded by family. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Friday, January 4, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will be one hour prior to the start of services at the funeral home. Lloyd is survived by his children, Tammie Morain of Duncombe; Brenda Barber of Coalville; and Brian (Sheri) McLuckie of Duncombe; grandchildren, Nicole (Aaron) Lessmeier, Cody Graves (Jenny), Brittany Barber (Tony), Dalton McLuckie, Brandon Barber (Morgan), and Connor Morain (Chelsea); great grandchildren, Riley, Maci, Tristan, Jaxson, Abel, Averi, Easton, and Maddox. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Earla (Babbit) McLuckie; and siblings, Kenny McLuckie and Earla Ray Pingel. Lloyd Lee McLuckie was born November 5, 1943 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and attended schools in Fort Dodge. For over 20 years, he was a mechanic for Gibbs-Cook which is now Ziegler. In 1963, he was united in marriage to Barb Bradley. The couple later divorced. Lloyd loved gardening. From flowers to his amazing tomatoes, he grew it all. In his down time, he could be found watching a western or tinkering in the garage. Above all, his best times were spent with family. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
