Loretta Dueker

Loretta M. Dueker,68, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday October 12, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Loretta Mae Lumsden was born April 7, 1952 to Robert Alfred and Sara Mae (Peterson) Lumsden. On December 11, 1970 she was married to Donald Nims. The couple had three children, Barbara, Kimberly and Robert "Bobby". They later divorced. Loretta worked as a Home Health Aide for several years. She later married Randy Dueker on September 30, 2009. Shortly after he passed away on December 17, 2009. Loretta enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loretta is survived by her children, Barbara (Ben) Thoma of Pomeroy, Kimberly (Jason) Albrecht of Callender, Bobby Nims and Liz Dueker both of Fort Dodge. Also survived by her siblings, Julie (Butch) White, Marsha (Paul) Waldschmidt, Robert Lumsden and Diana Nims, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Wayne Robert Lumsden, sister Sandy Davis and niece Dawn "Peewee" Combs. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
