Loretta Koeppen

Loretta is survived by her husband Neil of 66 years; daughter Carrie (Brian) McKigney of Mason City; son Curtis Koeppen of Jolley; 3 grandsons, Kolten Koeppen, Carter Koeppen, and Carson Koeppen; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Arnold Koeppen; parents, John Herman and Esther (Geisinger) Stein; brother Lawrence Stein; and sister Helen Hildreth.

Loretta Mae Stein Koeppen was born August 7, 1940 in Butler Township near Jolley, Iowa. She graduated from Jolley High School, with the Class of 1957. On September 28, 1957 she was united in marriage to Neil Koeppen at Lytton. The couple made their home on a farm near Jolley. Loretta worked as a homemaker and helped farm the family farm. She was a member of the Jolley Community United Methodist Church.
