Rockwell City Marcus A. Blunt 29, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home in Lake City, Iowa. A visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City, followed by a Graveside Service at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lake City, with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Marcus is survived by his daughter Kylie Kelso; sons, Konrad May-Blunt and Kreed May- Blunt; parents, Ann Blunt of Hastings, NE, and Shaun (Jana) Blunt of Rockwell City; brother Timothy (Stephanie) Blunt of Lake City; stepsiblings, Jaclyn McDonald Pratt (David) of Council Bluffs, Jessica McDonald of Chicago, Kelli (Brad) Oliver of Glenwood, Kayla (Josh) Tibbs of Forsyth, MT, Ryan McDonald of Council Bluffs; grandparents, Howard and Betty Lohr of Lake City, Janice Blunt of Gowrie, and Curtis (Wallis Ann) Blunt of Lincoln, NE; step - grandparents, Jim (Linda) Hindt of Rockwell City; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and other relatives and friends. Marcus Alan Blunt was born February 14, 1990 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Rockwell City/Lytton High School, with the Class of 2008 and attended Iowa Central Community College. Marcus worked industrial maintenance at Smithfield Foods in Carroll, Iowa.
