Marianne Boyce Lemmer Lose, 90, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Woodbury, MN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13th at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Marianne is survived by her children Cathy (Tim) Mullaney of Cottage Grove, MN; Stephen (Jeri) Lose of Shakopee, MN; John (Rose) Lose of Inver Grove Heights, MN; Michael (Mary) Lose of Rochester, MN; Mary Rose (Kurt) Iten of Fridley, MN; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Florence Lose of Sonoma, CA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Lose, parents Victor F. and Beatrice R. (Boyce) Lemmer, premature son Peter Lose, sisters Helen Lemmer and Marguerite Desotelle and brother William P, Lemmer. Marianne Boyce Lemmer was born on January 17, 1931 in Escanaba, MI, and was raised in Ironwood, MI. In 1952 she graduated from Marquette University College of Nursing. On September 6, 1952 she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Lose at St. John's Cathedral and they made their home in the Milwaukee area. She worked at hospitals in Milwaukee and Racine, WI. In 1969 the family moved to Fort Dodge. Marianne worked at Mercy and Trinity Regional Hospitals in the Medical/Surgical, ER, I.C.U., IV Therapy and Post Anesthesia Care units for over 25 years retiring in 1994. She was very active over the years in a variety of church, school, civic, community, and professional organizations.
