Mariel C. Fallon

Mariel C. Fallon, age 79, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Patrick Behm officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Legion of Mary Rosary at 4:00 PM, and Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM all at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Bill of Fort Dodge; daughter, Kathy (Jim) Toth and their children, Audrey, Addeline, and Olivia of Parker, CO; 3 sons, Tim Fallon of Fort Dodge; John Fallon and his children, Mackenzie and Carter of Olathe, KS; and James Fallon of Fort Dodge; her brother, Roy Ehrhardt of Sioux City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John V. and Constantina G. (Marlas) Ehrhardt; and her sister, Gloria Ehrhardt. Mariel Constantina Ehrhardt was born on December 22, 1937, in Humboldt. She lived in Sioux City before moving to Fort Dodge. In 1955, she graduated from Sacred Heart High School. Following her education, she worked for the Central Telephone Co. On May 14, 1966, she was united in marriage to William D. Fallon at Corpus Christi Church and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Mariel enjoyed Wheel of Fortune, trips to the mall, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
