Marjorie A. Taylor, 75, of Duncombe passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 30th in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Corpus Christ Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Robert; ; daughter, Debra (Roger) Taxted of Duncombe; sons, Rick (Yvonne) Taylor of Lehigh; and Tony (Tina) Taylor of Dover, Florida; sisters, Joan Oberbroeckling of Dubuque; Eileen Seger of Berthoud, Colorado, and Mary Klein of Duncombe; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen Davis Lundberg; and brother, Jim Lundberg. Marjorie Ann Lundberg was born June 19, 1938 in Fort Dodge. She attended Holy Rosary School and later went to Sacred Heart High School. Marjorie was united in marriage to Robert Taylor on June 19, 1954 after her education. They established their home in Fort Dodge then moved to Duncombe in 1962. Marjorie worked at Mercy hospital as a nurse aid, and she also worked at "Franklin's" Frigidaire in Webster City. She then started working at Mar-Rob Enterprises which she owned and operated with her husband for several years. Marjorie enjoyed her pets. They had a special place in her heart along with all her friends in the neighborhood. She loved being a grandma and was a wonderful mother. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
