Marlene Schubert

Marlene M. Schubert, 85, of Manson passed away, Sunday December 17, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. A private graveside service was held at Memorial Park Cemetery with Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home serving the family. Marlene was survived by her husband, William; son, Jim and his wife Jill of Manson; granddaughter, Tiffany Bliss and her husband, Marcus of Carrollton, TX. She was preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Ileen (Berner) Parrott and brother, Bernard Parrott. Marlene Mae Parrott was born September 26, 1932 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Fort Dodge. Marlene was united in marriage to William Schubert on August 15, 1949 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. The couple made their home on a farm east of Manson. Besides being a loving homemaker all her life, Marlene helped her husband on their farm for many years. Memorial may be left to the discretion of the family.
